This elements is used to communicate which components or parts of a resouce that can be adapted or changed to meet the needs of the user.

Vocabulary Recommendations

Choose the vocabulary elements which apply to the resource.

The controlled vocabulary for this element consists of the following:

font size: The physical dimensions of "A design for a set of characters. A font is the combination of typeface and other qualities, such as size, pitch, and spacing" (Source: www.webopedia.com)

font face: The design of a particular font and includes such distinctions as serif and sans serif.

foreground colour: The colour closest, in terms of perspective, to the user, that is, the colour of the most prominent text and/or objects.

background colour: The colour farthest, in terms of perspective, to the user, that is, the color against which significant objects and text in content are made visible.

cursor presentation: The characteristics of the cursor and how it is observed or perceived, such as colour, size, blink rate, etc.

highlight presentation: The identification of selected content by imposition of a color-significant background sych as colour background, border, sound, etc.

layout: The order, relationship and combination of content components of a resource including when a resource is being presented in an auditory, tactile or textual mode. This includes the order in time and space.

structure presentation: The identification of items of content within a resource that allows for different types of content to be displayed differently, including when headings are visible in large font or otherwise, or pronounced in a low tone or otherwise.
