2007-11-05. Legacy "Expressing Dublin Core in HTML/XHTML meta and link elements" of
2003-11-30 is replaced by a revised
DCMI Proposed Recommendation for Public Comment.

2007-12-03. Public Comment closes on "Expressing Dublin Core metadata using HTML/XHTML meta and link elements" ([ http://dublincore.org/documents/2007/11/05/dc-html/ DC-HTML)].

2007-12-15. Advancement to "DCMI Recommendation" is contingent on completion of "Notes on expressing Dublin Core metadata in HTML and XHTML" as a
note on "backwards compatibility".

2003-04-02. "Guidelines for implementing Dublin Core in XML" is published as a
DCMI Recommendation.

2007-06-27. "Expressing Dublin Core metadata in XML" was posted for public comment
from 30 May to 27 June 2006. The specification was accompanied by a set of example XML schemas; an additional document "DC-XML and XML Schema" about "customizing the schemas for various application profiles"; and an XSLT stylesheet for using GRDDL to extract RDF/XML from DC-XML (see also the [http://dublincore.org/architecturewiki/DCXMLRevision/Comments summary of comments).
