Travel Support
- Limited travel subsidies will be provided by Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI). For more information, please refer to this page.
- If you need invitations to attend this conference, please request to dc2001@nii.ac.jp. Prof. Jun Adachi, the Conference General Chair, will write invitation letters upon your request.
Exemption from Registration Fees
- To encourage the participants from developing countries, the Organizing Committee will invite some of them to attend the conference and workshop for free. If you wish to be exempted from registration fees, please follow this procedure.
Q1: I am not a presenter, nor a co-author of any papers presented at the conference. But I am interested in the conference. Can I participate in it? A1: Of course, you can. The conference is open to anyone who has interests in Dublin Core and applications related to metadata. Q2: Is the workshop (Oct.22-24) open to everybody? Or is it designed for a selected group of people? A2: The workshop is also open to anyone who has interests in Dublin Core. Q3: Is there any discounts of the registration fees for postgraduate students? A3: Postgraduate students can attend the conference and workshop at student fees.
