dcterms:abstract This collection records the architectural, administrative and liturgical history of Bath Abbey. An extensive run of records relates to major restorations and works to the organ, stained glass and lighting. it also contains minutes, registers, service sheets and material relating to the history of the Abbey cemetary and Abbey Church House. (NB. Burial registers are held by Somerset Record Office; microfiche copies of these are available at Bath Record Office.) There is also a small amount of material relating to St. James' Church, which was destroyed in 1942.
