Joint DCMI/IEEE LTSC Taskforce

Introduction

Welcome to the Joint DCMI/IEEE LTSC Taskforce Wiki. This is a Web-based collaborative area for the group, providing a shared space where documents can be created collaboratively. The original scope and purpose has been reformulated as two IEEE PARs, one IEEE standard called:

Standard for Resource Description Framework (RDF) Vocabulary for IEEE Learning Object Metadata (LOM) Data Elements

and an IEEE Recommended Practice called

Recommended Practice for Expressing IEEE Learning Object Metadata Instances Using the Dublin Core Abstract Model

The Charter of this taskforce was agreed upon by the DCMI Advisory Board and the IEEE LTSC LOM working group.

IMPORTANT: Do not cite materials in this Wiki other than for the purposes of collaborating on document creation. This Wiki is intended to be used to work on draft copies of documents. Finished documents will be published, in a persistent and citable form, on the dublincore.org Web site (or the UKOLN Web site or elsewhere in some cases).
