    * Reminder of new mailing list:  dc-kernel-kap@jiscmail.ac.uk

    * Discussion of Jane's parallel writing system followup; interesting implications seen for the evolution of the Kernel spec, but with no known impact on the Kernel Application Profile

    * Review of KAP draft V1.0, as follows:
        
        * Adrian walked group through the document, noting that much of the structure was due to the Simple Dublin Core AP from which it had been copied

        * A number of terms (eg, Language and URI constraints, Literal vs non-Literal) and features (Creator Max Occurs = 2?) were not well-understood and will require some homework

    * Discussion of Tom's email, acknowledgement that when mapping Kernel to DC, there must be an indication of when a Kernel element refines a DC element; the use of "ark:" as a namespace in Tom's example is probably misleading

    * Question of whether we're working on a Kernel or an ERC application profile; answer is that both the Kernel and the ERC supply constraints; now the question is what to call it -- eg, continue using "Kernel Application Profile"?

    * Action items: Charles will look into how to apply an RDF Schema; Adrian will push out another draft after followup with Tom
