Toni: goes directs attendees to documents listed on Wiki (See: http://dublincore.org/accessibilitywiki/CancoreAccessForAllMetadataGuidelines) and goes through the list of titles.
Accessibility: this top level container element is the first one documented, and discussion begins with it.
Andy: Raises a number of questions about the structure presented in the example section of this element’s documentation. This example is deemed problematic because the datamodel itself may be flattened, and the XML binding may consequently look at all like this.
Madeline: This issue is important because of recent progress in SC36, and CEN_ISSS. However, this will not present significant logistical challenges for CanCore’s current work, since the work will be completed by the end of October. And there remain many “stabilized” elements and element groups that CanCore can focus on in the meantime.
A consensus is reached to begin by looking at another element:
Norm asks for a narrative description of all thee elements and element groups, in order to get an idea of how they all fit together, and what separate purposes they might serve.
