The DC-Education Community is working with the
ISO Metadata for Learning Resources
group to ensure compatibility of the DC-Education Application Profile
Module and the ISO MLR-5: Educational Elements standard. We will be
attending ISO MLR webconferences on 16 November 2009 and 18 December
2009, in preparation for the group's big meeting in Osaka in 2010. Phil
Barker and Lorna Campbell of the UK's
JISC CETIS,
who are active members of the Community, will also be working with us
on feedback and input. In order to best facilitate DC-Education
Community feedback on this process we will also be holding DC-Education
webconferences prior to each of the ISO MLR ones. The first of these
will be held on 9 November 2009, 16:00-17:30 GMT. Please contact
Sarah Currier if you wish to attend. Please join the
DC Education mailing list for updates and discussion.
