Issues
-
ex:LocationPeriodOrJurisdiction - or ex:LocationPeriodJurisdiction? It is implied in meeting notes that Usage Board prefers the latter, but this may simply have been a transcription error.
-
Changed all (except one) "implied" range assignments from rdfs:Resource to "NON-LITERAL-RESOURCE-PLACEHOLDER"
-
EXCEPTION: range of rdfs:Resource for dcterms:description
-
Changed all "implied" domain assignments from rdfs:Resource to "NON-LITERAL-RESOURCE-PLACEHOLDER"
-
Changed proposed range assignment for dcterms:date
-
Andy-proposed range was ex:Period
-
UB-proposed range is http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#Literal (added this - need to go to Comment)
-
UB "approved" dcterms:identifier range of ex:Reference, thus approving ex:Reference
-
Note that this may need revision in light of Mikael's comments
-
For dcterms:title, UB decided range rdfs:Literal but for dcterms:alternative (a sub-property of dcterms:title) range rdfs:resource. This may be explained by the fact that DCTERMS range assignments were considered before DCMES range assignments, so have added rdfs:Literal as range for dcterms:alternative here. Agreed to go to comment because this is a problematic property.
-
As for range of rdfs:Resource for dcterms:description and its subproperties, meeting notes say: "not a case where we mean non-literal resource (because description allows images)" (??).
-
Changed definition of ex:Period from "A date or date range" to "An interval of time that is named or defined by its start and end dates". This is broader than the range of date and its subproperties and should be noted.
