The conference theme this year is “Application Profiles: Theory and Practice”.  DC-2007 seeks to explore the conceptual and practical issues in the development and deployment of application profiles to meet the needs of specific communities of practice.

Please be advised to make your hotel reservations early, as demand for hotel rooms in Singapore is high. 2007-05-14 The keynote speakers for the conference have been confirmed: they are Johannes Keizer from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, and Zhang Xiaoxing Deputy Director of the National Cultural Information Resource Center of China. 2007-05-14 Seminar Day on Friday 31 Aug will comprise of 2 half-day seminars:  “Introduction to the Semantic Web” to be conducted by Ivan Herman, Semantic Web Lead at W3C, and “Metadata That Works: Making Good Decisions” to be lead by Diane Hillmann.
