Arofan Gregory
CODATA
Arofan Gregory has worked for more than twenty years developing, supporting, and implementing metadata standards for statistical and reasearch data. Among these are SDMX, the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI), the Generic Statistical Information Model (GSIM), the Data Cube Vocabulary, and others. He now works on CODATA's Decadal Programme and in WorldFAIR on standards related to cross-domain FAIR implementation, notably on the Cross-Domain Interoperability Framework. He is currently the chair of the DDI Cross-Domain Intengration (DDI-CDI) working group.

Simon Hodson
CODATA
Executive Director of CODATA since August 2013, Simon Hodson is an expert on data policy issues and research data management. He chaired the European Commission’s Expert Group on FAIR Data which produced the report Turning FAIR into Reality, and he was vice-chair of the UNESCO Open Science Advisory Committee, tasked with drafting the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. Simon is also a member of the Data Documentation Initiative Scientific Board, a member of the EOSC Semantic Interoperability Task Force and the coordinator of the WorldFAIR Project.

Artist and researcher, project manager and consultant with a demonstrated history of innovative qualitative research in Digital Preservation, Cultural Heritage, Digital Curation, Research Data Management and Analysis, and Information Retrieval. Interdisciplinary DPhil (PhD) on digital information skills in contemporary visual art practice from the Ruskin School of Art and the Oxford Internet Institute, both at University of Oxford. Specialist in interdisciplinary work, creating knowledge relationships between domains, such as bringing the creative arts into dialogue with Information Science. Passionate about community building and ethical research practice.
