Elisa Cerveira

Elisa Cerveira is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto and a member of the Department of Communication and Information Sciences Executive Committee. She is also Director of the Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and a researcher at CITCEM (Transdisciplinary Research Centre "Culture, Space and Memory") in the Digital Culture research group. From 2016-2019, Elisa Cerveira was a member of the board of CIC. Digital-Porto (Center for Research in Communication, Information and Digital Culture) and is the editor-in-chief of PRISMA.COM, an information and communication science and technology journal. Before joining the University she worked for Porto City Council in the Historical Archive and the Public Library. Presently she teaches topics related to information organization as descriptive metadata, authority control and information management.
