Nishad Thalhath

Nishad Thalhath is a doctoral candidate in Information Science and an active member of the Metadata Laboratory at the School of Library, Media, and Information Studies, University of Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests encompass metadata standards, knowledge graphs, and metadata interoperability. With nearly two decades of experience, Nishad has contributed as a developer, engineer, and consultant to various IT and ITES projects.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Nishad currently serves as a part-time researcher at the Laboratory for Large-Scale Biomedical Data Technology within the RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences, Japan. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing the metadata and integration systems for omics data.
