DCMI Abstract Model published as DCMI Recommendation

The DCMI Directorate is pleased to announce that after the Public Comment period that took place in February 2005, the DCMI Abstract Model is now published as a DCMI Recommendation. The document is primarily aimed at the developers of software applications that support Dublin Core™ metadata, people involved in developing new syntax encoding guidelines for Dublin Core™ metadata and those people developing metadata application profiles based on the Dublin Core™.
