Public Comment for revisions to Dublin Core™ Metadata Element Set

The DCMI Usage Board has announced a Public Comment period for editorial revisions to labels, definitions and comments of terms in the Dublin Core™ Metadata Element Set. The proposed revisions clarify intended meanings and update the wording of definitions and comments in accordance with the DCMI Abstract Model. Comments can be submitted from 28 August through 25 September 2006 by posting to the DC-GENERAL mailing list. Comments received will be discussed at the Usage Board meeting in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico, on 30 September 2006.
